revised typography

really thought up alot of new ideas just to make the typography more interesting… added in girls’ silhouettes too to make it more funky. need more creativity brain juices!!! ~_~

if i have the time during the holiday, will definitely finish this up. hahaha…

nice website to learn special effects, video copilot actually gives a lot of tutorials on special effects.

right now working on the healing ability and on eye glowing effect.

seems like tracking is needed for both videos. @_@

tracking and masking are interesting though. saw many different types of usage while looking through tutorials. lol. time freeze is cool too.

filming superhero

since i am just rid of a project… here to blog alittle about the filming of superhero.

well i wont say its my first time holding a video cam… but more like i am now the one that’s in charge of everything including the script, storyboard, pre and postproduction. kinda feels weird to be totally in charge so was kinda lost at first. lol.

oh well, anyways i managed to get help from the wonder boy, eng chye to help out with the filming. *phew* its really hard to find people to help out especially its the project deadline week. many thanks to all “thanks man”.

well there were really alot of funny ngs taken, as well as many fails with people walking around adding noise to the surrounding… i think the hardest thing to do during filming is the audio. this was especially so for our group project too. since we did interview based videos, voice capturing was a must and it was indeed quite challenging having to pick good spots just for the interview. also learnt quite abit bout background noise removal…

will upload the full video soon once i am done with the editting. haha. laterssss.

new storyboard for superhero

i know this is kinda late… but here’s the new storyboard for superhero… well at least it was done. =X

so basically, this video is gonna be like a trailer, with both suspense and action. the inclusion of a friend-like-rival is to heighten up the suspense and the thrill of the show. hope that the video can bring out this excitement and suspense… another highlight of the show will be that of “with great power comes great responsiblity”. it will be kinda like asking the viewers what they actually think of this power and how will they use it if they are in the place of the protagonist.
